Nancy Kelly Weimer is well versed in all aspects of the food industry. She began her culinary career with a wide range of experiences – cooking and baking at small inns in Vermont, then working a large seafood house in Key West, Florida. Her career then took her to a busy steak house and then on to managing a premier catering operation in Princeton, New Jersey.  In 1992 Nancy began her consulting services -menu design, recipe formulation and startups of new restaurants. Serving as Food Service Director for New Leaf Community Markets in Santa Cruz, California for 17 years, Nancy oversaw the Deli, Kitchen, Cheese, Specialty, Juice Bars and Bakery Departments. She participated in the designs and openings of New Leaf Community Markets Half Moon Bay, Westside Santa Cruz, San Jose and Pleasanton. Nancy's culinary writing has appeared in trade and local magazines including three years of the County Bounty column for the Santa Cruz Sentinel.  In her spare time she likes to travel, cook and eat.
